O zagueiro argentino de 28 anos <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gazetaesportiva.com\/times\/atletico-de-madrid\/romero-se-despede-do-tottenham-e-fica-perto-de-acerto-com-o-atletico-de-madrid\/\"><strong>havia se despedido do Tottenham na \u00faltima sexta-feira<\/strong><\/a> e assinou com a equipe espanhola at\u00e9 junho de 2031.<\/p>\n<p>Romero chega ao seu sexto clube na carreira. Ap\u00f3s ser revelado pelo Belgrano-ARG, em 2016, teve uma extensa carreira europeia, defendendo o Genoa, a Juventus e a Atalanta no futebol italiano e o Tottenham, na Inglaterra.<\/p>\n<p>O Atl\u00e9tico de Madrid pagou cerca de 40 milh\u00f5es de euros (R$ 241,6 milh\u00f5es) pela contrata\u00e7\u00e3o de Romero. \u00c9 o quarto refor\u00e7o da equipe de Simeone nesta janela de transfer\u00eancias.
